I cooked a very weird thing today! Let me describe the “recipe”.
- Crack a couple of eggs. Add salt and stir them up well (I think the phrase is “beat the eggs”?).
- Spread out a sheet of aluminium foil and grease with half of the egg (I want to try butter next time).
- Sprinkle some a lot of pepper powder on the bottom side of the fish fillet. (I assume there’s already salt on both sides of the fish).
- Place the fish on the foil with the unpeppered side facing up so you can dump more pepper on it. Loads more pepper (since I don’t have any sauce at home, except chilli. Oh SHIT I forgot to add the chilli sauce). And I love pepper.
- Pour the rest of the egg and coat the fish well. Wrap up the foil and put in the oven for 20 minutes.
See, it’s weird isn’t it @.@ 1) The egg is too fluid so it gets all over the place 2) It gets stuck to the foil so you have to scrape it off 3) And because of that, everything looked ugh. Well, it was a very impromptu decision to experiment today and everything was done in a few minutes (not if you count the defrosting time) and then it’s just the oven doing the work.
He said it was nice though! =D
We went to Ichiban Sushi for dinner today and was so so full. I had the chicken katsudon, ugh more egg =X and then I ordered the chawanmushi which Shu Ying said is very nice (but I hope she didn’t mean the one at IS because) but I didn’t like it much, maybe because, TOO MUCH EGG for the day! I should have ordered the cereal chicken instead. I love anything with cereal flakes! I like the tempura icecream, but then again, I like icecream, and the tempura didn’t really taste that great, and love strawberries as I do, I don’t like strawberry sauce. There was strawberry sauce all over the tempura icecream. I prefer baked icecream or fried ones. I was going to buy a bunch of sushi too, but I ended up so full I couldn’t eat another bite. =\
Mmm. Time to sleep! Going to Sun Tec for the IT fair tomorrow =D
Edit:
Oh ya! And I’m still lucky! Found a parking lot (actually we found two side by side) within a minute again today and that was with the “carpark full” sign flashing outside!
